I've always been a fan of the biggest loser, and I've watched all 13 seasons that have been on tv.

After every finale, I wished that I could have made the same transformation that the winner did.

So soon after the 2011 season, I got tired of dreaming about change and wanted my own "Biggest Loser" moment.

I went on line in search of a boot camp and found Fitness Optimist.

I encouraged my sister to go with me for a consultation and after talking to Joe Buabeng, the owner, we signed up sight unseen.

It's the best investment that I've ever made.

One year later, I have lost over 45 lbs. and reduced my body fat percentage by 15%.

Needless to say I have had quite a body transformation. I am able to do exercises that I would have never dreamed of, and I can run 3 miles.
